We are thrilled that our hybrid ventilation with heat recovery system, HVR Zero, has been awarded as the Best Product or Innovation of the Year for the Air Quality category at the CIBSE Awards.
We were proud to receive recognition for our natural cooling Cool-phase system development – an intelligently controlled ventilation and cooling that uses phase change materials. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK businesses who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development and are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.
These awards celebrate business excellence and innovation in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability across a broad range of disciplines, including Carbon Impact, Community Development, Staff Welfare, Energy, Education and Leadership. Monodraught were delighted to have been named "One to Watch" in the Clean and Green category in the ceremony at Lords Cricket Ground.
Monodraught were shortlisted in the Energy Saving Product of the Year category for our natural cooling Cool-phase Hybrid system.

Monodraught won Best Product/Service Range Category in the Best Small to Medium Size Business category. Judged by a large panel of over 20 independent experts, judges select winners according to strict criteria. Commenting on the award, the Chairman of the Judges said: “Monodraught is a great all-rounder that demonstrates a strong commitment to its staff, giving back to the community and, most of all, innovation in hybrid lighting, cooling and ventilation for the built environment. In the quest to reduce energy consumption, Monodraught invests heavily in research and development and works closely with several universities to develop enhanced solutions. Monodraught is a leading light in improving the environment of the buildings we work and live in and in conserving energy.”
Monodraught were winners of the Buckinghamshire Business Awards “Company of the Year”. These awards are designed to recognise the most ambitious and forward-thinking companies in the county. The judges commented on the passion of our staff and were impressed by our innovative use of technology; from high-tech computer modelling used by the design team, the use of Phase Change Materials in our natural cooling products, right through to our virtual reality marketing programme which helps clients to experience our natural and hybrid lighting products. We were commended for our commitment to local suppliers and for our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, including sponsorship of local charity Buckinghamshire Mind.
