Monodraught’s range of commercial systems are ideally suited to modern buildings as well as refurbishment projects. Typically, when using modern methods of construction buildings have a relatively higher cooling requirement, this is mainly due to their low u values and higher heat gains. The UK climate is ideally for Natural Ventilation and daylight applications, as is most of the north European continent. The day to night time temperature differentials are essential for a successful natural ventilation strategy as well as the controls philosophy. WINDCATCHER
Natural ventilation systems
The WINDCATCHER® natural ventilation system provides fresh air into a room from roof level, whatever the wind's direction, and without mechanical assistance. The Monodraught WINDCATCHER system eliminates the need for air conditioning without compromising the security of the building.
WINDCATCHER X-AIR
Monodraught's X-Air is the next generation of natural ventilation systems to its WINDCATCHER® range. The system has many innovations and patented technologies. WINDCATCHER X-Air's defining features include distinctive styling and patented LED architectural lighting.
ABS WINDCATCHER
The ABS WINDCATCHER® natural ventilation system is aimed at the smaller scale applications. Similar in operation to the larger GRP WINDCATCHER® natural ventilation systems, the ABS WINDCATCHER system offers a low cost option where ventilation is required on a smaller scale.
SOLA-BOOST
The SOLA-BOOST® is an extension of the proven WINDCATCHER design, to provide additional ventilation on sunny days, whilst maintaining zero running costs. The performance is significantly improved by the addition of a solar driven fan that brings in additional fresh air.
ABS SOLA-BOOST
The ABS SOLA-BOOST® is the smaller version of the SOLA-BOOST system and is available with a 550mm diameter trunk. The system is ideally suited to internal areas such as small offices and other smaller areas, such as meeting rooms.
SUNCATCHER
The Monodraught SUNCATCHER® natural daylight and ventilation systems convey natural daylight and ventilation from roof level down into the building below by combining the principles of the WINDCATCHER® natural ventilation system with Monodraught's SUNPIPE® natural daylight system.
ABS SUNCATCHER
The ABS SUNCATCHER® incorporates the SUNPIPE and natural ventilation in one compact, energy-free system. These systems are available in three sizes. The ABS 350 which incorporates our 230mm (9") diameter SUNPIPE system and the ABS 550 incorporating either our 300mm (12") or 450mm (18") diameter system.
SOLA-VENT
Monodraught’s SOLA-VENT®is a fully integrated natural daylight and ventilation system for bathrooms and WC areas. These systems incorporate a SUNPIPE®, a solar powered extract fan, and two compact-fluorescent downlighters. The system is available in two sizes.
HEAT HARVESTER
HEAT HARVESTER® are destratification fans that thermally equalise the air temperature in an enclosed space and significantly reduce heating and cooling bills.
VERTICAL BALANCED FLUES
For use on all commercial boilers and manufactured in GRP, the Monodraught vertical balanced flue system provides all the requirements for combustion air, ventilation and flueing in one composite unit.
COOL-PHASE
COOL-PHASE is a low energy cooling, ventilation and heat recovery system that can reduce energy consumption
by up to 90%, compared to conventional cooling approaches. COOL-PHASE creates a fresh
and healthy indoor environment, uses no environmentally damaging coolants, and can be installed in both new build and retrofit applications.
INVENT CONTROL SYSTEMS
The iNVent system is a bespoke natural ventilation management system for up to four zones utilising our seasonally adjusted proportional control.

SUNPIPE
The SUNPIPE® natural daylight system, available in six different sizes, utilises our Super Silver aluminium tubular skylight principle to provide natural daylight to areas where windows cannot reach.
SQUARE SUNPIPE
The Square SUNPIPE® natural daylight system is ideally suited to a room with a flat ceiling, as opposed to a typical loft conversion. The system has been specifically developed to provide an unobtrusive termination for any roof finish.
