Nyssa's Wedding
 |
![]() |
Our lovely receptionist, Nyssa, wed her childhood sweetheart Cris at the village church at Chenies, Bucks, at the end of August. Nyssa has been our receptionist for nearly three years now and they are spending their honeymoon in Egypt. The bridal car was a vintage Cadillac and probably one of the very first 'stretch limos' and indeed, it is the only one in the country. She is seen with our MD, Prof Terry Payne, after the exhausting ordeal at the reception! This is the third recent marriage we have had within the firm, firstly Luigi, our Contracts Manager, who also married his childhood sweetheart, Lisa, and then there was Nick Hopper, our Head of Design, married his childhood sweetheart, Shelley! Both Nick and Luigi have been with the company for nine years. We certainly do foster long term relationships! |

A Success for the SunPipe Polo Team
 |
|
![]() |
The SunPipe Polo Team were delighted to win their latest tournament at the West Wycombe Park Polo Club with a win of 10½ to 1 goals over their opponents, West Wycombe Polo Team, to win the Chairman's Cup.
To win by a half goal might sound surprising to some people but in Polo, you have a handicap and in this case, the SunPipe Team carried a half goal handicap. Our Polo Team have had a series of successes throughout the season, including winning the Silver Cup at the Royal Leamington Spa Polo Club and also the Captains Tournament at Kirtlington Polo Club at Oxford.
The SunPipe Polo Team consists of a total of 16 Polo ponies, all from Argentina and they have a full-time coach also from Argentina and the ponies are stabled at Radnage, near High Wycombe.

Every week, indeed every day, we get the most marvellous comments from customers who
return their guarantee cards and below are just four of them! We have to withhold their

Our Team Building Exercise in Austria
 |
|
![]() |
Our team building weekend in Austria was a great success, with over 80 of our staff,
Clients and colleagues. After a lunchtime Sales Conference on the Saturday, the afternoon was spent on wild water rafting, where four teams competed as to who could get the wettest!
After a horse riding session, mountain biking, and trips up the chairlift, the final Sales briefing was given on
the top of the Steinplatte mountain, where some of the team found a snow gulley and did
some snow boarding but without the boards! However, everyone got back safely, much fitter and wiser after the
event! |

Another Great Show at NEMEX
 |
|
![]() |
We had another excellent Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham last month, where we had more than 600 visitors to
our Stand. NEMEX stands for the National Energy Managers' Exhibition and attracts more than 6,000 visitors,
mainly Facilities Managers and Energy Managers. All our Sales Managers and Sales staff were kept very busy
throughout the Show and we have already signed up again for next year!
The complete range of Monodraught products was on show but particular interest was shown in our new Sola-Boost
system, which for the very first time offers on a worldwide basis "Energy-Free Powered Natural Ventilation".
This represents a tremendous breakthrough for energy conscious Managers. Naturally, considerable interest was
also shown in all other Monodraught products on show. |
