Launch of the New
ABS Sola-boost Windcatcher

Following the great success of the Sola-boost Windcatcher series models, we have now extended the same technology to the ABS range, to bring all the advantages of Sola-boost to smaller commercial premises.  The first application of the ABS Sola-boost systems has been Lloyds TSB Bank Project at Sherwood, Nottingham, where 3N° ABS Sola-boost Windcatchers were installed, together with various SunPipe systems.  The ABS series of Windcatchers have been a tremendous success in producing a low cost ventilation unit that easily slips between roof members usually without any need for roof trimming, so with the addition of the solar powered Sola-boost system, we expect this system to be increasingly popular.

October has continued to be a very busy month with Exhibitions and we were delighted that Eugene, who found fame in the Big Brother series, visited our Stand at the Sustainable Energy Show at Olympia and has expressed considerable interest in low energy products and spent some time discussing our wide range of energy saving sustainable product developments. The week before we had one of our most successful Exhibitions ever, when they had 43,000 visitors to the Grand Designs Show that was held at the NEC Birmingham. It is funny, 4 or 5 years ago, everyone said that Exhibitions were dead, since now that everyone can get their information from the internet, no-one would bother to go to Exhibitions! Well, something has changed because we have done 32 Exhibitions this year and at each one, we have been 'rushed off our feet' dealing with the number of enquiries, so it looks like the slogan is "Long live the Exhibition!".
