The Launch of our New
750mm Diamond Dome |
 |
![]() |

We are delighted to say that our 750mm diameter Diamond dome SunPipes are now available and are now already being specified by major Supermarket chains throughout the UK, as well as major utility companies, Schools and Colleges. The 750mm diameter Diamond dome SunPipe has been specially developed following the phenomenal success of our smaller Diamond dome SunPipes, but the 750mm Diamond dome produces approximately twice as much light as the 530mm diameter system, and is therefore ideally suited to buildings of more than 7m in height. Calculated to produce approximately 1000 lux at floor level, the 750mm Diamond domes are now being considered for complete Supermarket Retail Sales areas, as well as for Warehousing and high bay Stores generally. For Supermarket applications, the 530mm and 450mm Diamond domes are being specified extensively for such areas as Restaurants and Staff Rooms, whereas 300mm diameter SunPipes are being used for corridors, offices, and wash rooms. Diamond domes are also being put to good use for internal stairways, where an abundance of natural light, without any reliance on external fenestration is proving most popular. There is a worldwide movement now to eliminate the unnecessary use of electric lighting during daylight hours, so as to save energy and the environmental impact but what University Reports are also showing is the adoption of natural lighting to Supermarkets, since its proven to improve Sales, whereas natural lighting in Schools has been shown to improve students’ learning, where it is seen that they progress 20% faster on Maths test and 26% better on reading tests in one year. The benefit to all parties is, therefore, considerable, so it is little wonder that Supermarkets have now cottoned on to this same reason for adopting this new daylighting technology. |

Every week, indeed every day, we get the most marvellous comments from customers who
