We are with you all the way. In the UK, our experienced technicians offer best-in-class installation and commissioning services for our product range and ensure that your project is delivered smoothly.

Installation

In the UK, our highly qualified installation teams complete over 85% of all Monodraught projects delivered with outstanding service levels. We take care to align our programme with yours and adapt wherever possible to accommodate your schedule. Once an order is placed, one office-based contract manager is assigned to the project to act as a single point of contact to coordinate and control the project from start to finish. They follow through all design and installation processes, organise all site visits, and provide all necessary info, such as working drawings to our on-site teams. The contract manager is ultimately responsible for the final project completion sign-off.

Pre-installation survey

To avoid problems arising with other contractors, our site survey teams ensure that everyone knows exactly what is happening throughout the contract, and what everyone is doing. The contract manager will organise a provisional site visit, usually a week before we are due to start work. This ensures that the project runs smoothly as any issues can be resolved beforehand, such as removing access blockages, ensuring scaffolding has been erected for roof access, and that provision has been made for equipment storage. Our teams can then be as efficient as possible, and we get can complete the contract on time.

Commissioning

The contract manager will arrange pre-occupancy commissioning and post occupancy evaluation (POE) visits as required. Commissioning is performed by the installation teams, supported by the technical team at our High Wycombe office. Several our installers are qualified to commission on site and we employ specific commissioning engineers with technical knowledge of our electronics and controls. When a project is ready to be handed over to the client, our commissioning engineer is available to attend site to approve our system and arrange a demonstration to explain how our systems operate.

Skilled site teams

Site based installation work can prove to be a difficult element to get right and we have had many years of experience on what works and what doesn’t on sites. Our installation teams are staffed by permanently employed technicians, many of whom have been with us for ten years or more. The team hold a range of accreditations and certifications to be sure that they can work safely on site, and details can be provided if required. Examples include SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training), IPAF (powered access) and PASMA (mobile tower access), CSCS, COSHH, Environmental Awareness, IOSH managing safely, Lone working, F-Gas handling, First Aid, CITB Health & Safety awareness, Working at heights, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling.

In-house Training

To maintain their performance, our installers attend regular training courses and product updates to ensure that they know our systems and can provide feedback for future developments.
