Looking Ahead

Since the launch of the first Windcatcher systems in 1987, Monodraught has now installed more than 10,000 natural ventilation systems.  70% of Windcatchers are installed on Schools, Colleges, and University Projects but an increasing number of Windcatcher units are now used on Offices, Secure Establishments, Leisure Projects, and Health Centres.  Monodraught are committed to establishing renewable energy concepts that replace the need for air conditioning during summer months.

Monodraught launched the Sola-boost system in 2006 and Sola-boost now account for 85% of sales.  Based on the success of this solar driven system, Monodraught launched the Residential Sola-boost at the Interbuild Show in 2007 and this proved to be an immediate success.  Monodraught have since launched a range of decorative Turrets, which still incorporate solar driven fans but also incorporate all the advantages of natural ventilation to provide 24 hour energy free ventilation throughout the year.
