We are looking for Contracts Engineer

Job Outline

The main aim of the role is the management of a number of projects from order to completion, working efficiently and to contractual deadlines/timescales.

The role will require the preparation of correspondence and production of 2D drawings in AutoCAD, as well as the co-ordination and logistics of the installation of the Company's range of natural ventilation, cooling and lighting equipment with the clients and contractors.

Any training required can be provided, but the ideal candidate will already have proven track record in managing multiple projects within a HVAC related environment. Candidates qualified to Graduate/HNC level with clear potential will also be considered.

This is a rewarding and diverse role with a high degree of autonomy, where you will work with external customers as well as internal stakeholders, the role provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop experience within a dynamic organisation.

Professional Experience

  • A mechanical engineer with a proven track record in managing multiple projects, ideally within a HVAC related environment
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft and CRM packages.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety working within the Construction industry including a general awareness of CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Experience in managing the logistics of completing projects within time and budget and ensuring contractual and financial requirements are adhered to.

  • Determined, focused and motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Decisive and able to plan and prioritise workload effectively with an attention for detail. Can be relied upon to consistently produce high quality work.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and strong capability in planning.
  • A strong communicator who can express technical concepts clearly with an ability to effectively manage client expectations and develop strong relationships with colleagues.


  • Although not essential, further education (HNC/HND/Degree) in a numerate or ideally an engineering discipline is desirable.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence.
