Installation Engineer - Northern Region

We are looking for an Installation Engineer based in the North of England.

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Installation Engineer to join our busy contracts department, working predominately in the HVAC industry.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager at our High Wycombe Headquarters, the field based Engineer will work alongside a Team Leader in the installation of the full range of Monodraught natural ventilation, natural lighting, and natural cooling products, working on a various range of construction sites throughout the North of England.

This is a demanding and rewarding job, with full product training provided which will allow the successful candidate to develop experience and knowledge within a dynamic organisation.

Essential Criteria

  • Appreciation of and implementation of site safety regulations is essential, SSSTS certified is preferable, but must be a CSCS card holder as a minimum
  • Must have full UK driving licence
  • Protective clothing to be worn
  • Requirement to occasionally stay away from base.
  • Working at heights
  • Manual work which requires suitable level of health and fitness
  • May be CRB checked
  • Health and Safety Training will be provided and must be successfully completed
  • Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload effectively
  • Able to deliver high quality customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Responsible and reliable individual

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in installation of Monodraught products by:

  • Working with a team leader to carry out the assembly of ducting and components on site.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, following training, in the assembly and installation of basic components and systems.
  • Assisting in erecting scaffolding and access equipment.
  • Use of small and hand tools.
  • Completion and submission of weekly timesheets.
  • Keeping work area tidy and safe.
  • Fully comply with site specific Health and Safety requirements.
  • Work as part of a team.
