Technical Consultant - North West England

We are looking for a Technical Consultant based in the North West of England.

Job Outline

The role will be primarily field based, covering the entire North West Region.

The main aim of the role is to generate specifications and drive orders for Monodraught’s range of Low Energy Product Solutions including natural, hybrid and mechanical ventilation, cooling and natural lighting. Key customer targets are Consultants, Contractors and End Users. Activities will include but not be limited to visiting customers, managing projects throughout the design and specification process and delivering product presentations.

Product training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will already have significant knowledge of the HVAC sector and be familiar with the construction design and specification process.

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop structured and targeted plans by customer sector and region
  • Arrange daily customer appointments and follow up calls in line with Business Plans
  • Actively seek out new project enquiries and opportunities
  • Develop new CRM leads using research tools including Barbour ABI Database
  • Update CRM system with details of visits, enquiries and calls on a daily basis
  • Provide customer support on live contracts as required
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, external training as required

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years’ experience in a field sales role, with a proven track record of generating enquiries and successful conversion rates of quotations to orders.
  • Demonstrable experience of promoting Technical Product Solutions into the M&E Consultant Sector
  • Must have a proactive approach to managing own workload and clients’ expectations
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and visualise in 3-dimensions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound commercial acumen, including strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Right to work in UK
  • Valid Driving Licence
