29th March 2013

Monodraught is proud to be sponsoring this year’s Building and Engineering Services 3 peak challenge to be held on the 31st May 2013. This is the second year that the charity is holding this event and it is expected that there will be an increase in the amount of teams entering the competition.

Andy Sneyd Vice President of the B&ESA explains

“Since 2009 we have been supporting the Everyman cancer charity with our Building Services world cup football trophy which has gone from strength to strength. The 3 peak challenge is another opportunity for people from within our industry to get together, have fun and support their chosen charities especially if football is not their chosen hobby”

The rules are very simple.

It’s a team event which must include 3 climbers, male or female, teams can be mixed, with no age restrictions except participants must be over 17 years of age on the day of the event. Each team can also have up to two drivers but this is at the discretion of each team.

All teams will start at the car park at the foot of Ben Nevis at the same time, 4pm.

The team who arrive at the mountain car park after reaching the final summit of Snowdon, having completed climbing all 3 mountains in the fastest time, including the drive between each mountain will be the winners. However, for the time to be valid, a data tagged smart photo will be required of each team with all 3 member climbers at each of the 3 summits. The organizers/promoters decision on validity will be final.

The winners will receive the B & ES Trophy and will keep this title for a period of 1 year until it is passed to subsequent winners. The trophy will be presented at a B & ES Event, marking your team’s achievement.

The events profits will be donated to a charity. The winning team will decide who this charity is.

Entry fee will be £95. Cheques made payable to Engineering Sport Limited.

All participants take part at their own risk, are responsible for their own Health & safety. The event organizer is not accountable for any loss, damage or injury. Participants are responsible for their own medical needs and emergencies. Participants are responsible for their own transportation.
